Hi and welcome to my new blog/web-site. As a little background, I am a lifelong surfer and environmentalist who lives in Jacksonville, FL but grew up on Long Island. I started writing seriously about 12 years ago. I am not a trained writer per-se and am more of a story teller. I write from a deep place and draw from my experiences. I am fascinated with the human condition and what makes us tick. Surfing of course is a passion that runs through the theme of much of my writing, and surfing will also be at the heart of much of my blog entries as will me feelings regarding my love of nature and the ocean and how we should and can protect it. I also write an annual Christmas/Holiday story that I post annually. I have written a screenplay version of my novel the Nonconformist that is currently being developed for an independent film production and I will keep you all posted as to the development of it. I will also from time to time post excerpts from short stories I have written but are unpublished.  I encourage you to check out my novel as well as my previously published books and let me know what you think of them as well as my blog.
